Throughout law school, and since opening the Mariano Law Firm, Paul has drafted numerous court documents used in a variety of proceedings at the trial and appellate level in both state and federal court.

In law school, he assisted in cases such as a commercial law claim for damaged bulk-goods, a medical malpractice claims for a faulty medical equipment, a legal malpractice claim for attorney negligence, an appellate case involving a recognizance and surety bond, a claim for damages against a credit-reporting agency for negligence, and a personal injury claim.

Since practicing, Mr. Mariano has successfully defended numerous clients against legal complaints, including against a New Mexico corporation's claim for over $350,000 in damages. There, the New Mexico corporation filed a Complaint in the Arlington Circuit Court for breach of contract, business conspiracy and misappropriation of trade secrets. Mr. Mariano filed a motion to quash and dismiss with supporting and supplemental memoranda and obtained a dismissal with prejudice against the New Mexico corporation's action.
